The Brussels British Community Association (BBCA) has served as a focal point for the British Community in Brussels and the south of Belgium for many years, supporting links between the many British social groups in the area. One of its roles is to provide opportunities for member groups to network, share experiences, and learn from each other about life in Belgium.
The BBCA provides a sense of community for British expatriates in Belgium. It offers support throughout their time here, and is seen as a ‘lifeline’ by many when they arrive.
The BBCA also supports a range of charitable and creative work by the British Community. Without support from the wider community, the running of any sort of voluntary organization wouldn’t be possible. I am therefore delighted to continue to support the long association that the British Embassy has enjoyed with the BBCA in my role as President.
